The lyrics are a combination of feeling real/raw and drawing from the influence of Pat Pattison. The section in quotations after chorus 2 is an unfinished bridge, but I want replacement lyrics that still start with Goodnight or Goodbye every time. However, instead of tubb-e-say they give some other name that I can call the person this song is being written to/about. Make the name at the end match the cadence and rhyme of "tubb-e-say".
